State Farm is actively seeking a high-performing, community-minded leader to step into an Agency Owner opportunity in Santa Fe, New Mexico. What you will do
- Own and operate a State Farm agency as an independent contractor
- Build and execute a local business plan for growth in Santa Fe and surrounding communities
- Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team focused on customer care and results
- Develop strong referral and community relationships through local involvement and networking
- Conduct needs-based discovery conversations and offer appropriate protection and financial service solutions
- Create a culture of service, accountability, and consistent follow-through to support retention and long-term growth
- Use digital and in-person strategies to drive marketing, customer engagement, and sales activity
Who we are looking for
- Entrepreneurial drive with a desire to build a business and lead people
- Demonstrated performance in sales, business development, leadership, or running operations (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to earn trust quickly
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a customer-first mindset
- Community involvement is a plus, especially leadership roles in civic or nonprofit organizations
- Ability to meet pre-appointment requirements prior to completing the selection process, including obtaining required insurance licenses (Property and Casualty, Life and Health) and successfully passing the SIE
